Recommendations from LIT Farms:
GERMINATION
Seeds need three key ingredients to germinate:
- Air
- Humidity
- Heat
This simple method usually increases the germination rate of cannabis seeds:
- Soak the seeds for 48 hours in filtered or distilled water at a pH of 6.0, maintaining a temperature between 24 and 29 °C.
- Place the seeds between damp paper towels, but not dripping wet.
- Place the towels inside a sealed plastic bag with enough air for the seeds to breathe.
- Check the seeds frequently to make sure they stay moist.
- The seeds should actually germinate within 72 hours.
- Once they are between 6 mm and 12 mm long, place them in your preferred growing medium.
If you grow many expensive seeds and germination is essential, we recommend the following germination technique.
HERMAPHRODITES
Some varieties exhibit certain sensitivities that can result in hermaphrodite traits.
Some plants are more sensitive than others to fertilization with high EC, pH variability, and intense heat or light.
We recommend taking clones from the seedlings and letting them flower for best results.
You can check out the variety on the official Lit Farms website.
